Please join the DFW chapter of ISCEBS on Thursday, November 8th for "What’s The Fuss From the DOL About Missing Participants” at Maggiano's.
Our clients are asking what they need to do to avoid trouble with the DOL and IRS on missing and unresponsive participants. Jim will address this question by looking at who might be a missing participant and what an employer should do to determine whether they have missing participants. Jim will also discuss actions that may be taken by the IRS, DOL and PBGC. Congressional action may be next. In all of this, Jim will provide practical guidance on what an employer should do to discharge its obligations under ERISA.
