Anne Meyer and Jim Griffin of Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. will present on a variety of legal topics that are important to know about for 2025. They will discuss new SECURE changes that are first effective in 2025 and the related IRS plan amendment deadlines. Their presentation will also include an update on 401(k) litigation, including the wave of forfeiture lawsuits and an update on investment performance and expense litigation, focusing on several important court cases from late 2024. Finally, their presentation will conclude with their thoughts about what to expect on employee benefits from the new Trump Administration and a reminder of the basics that are so important in complying with the fiduciary requirements of ERISA.
